Splash Pad Fun

Sunday, July 18, 2010

Lucas and I went to the Splash Pad today for an MMMP playdate. Sunshyne, Hannah, Adria, Lydia, Arthur, and a new Mommy and her daughter were there too. I love it when Sunshyne is at a play date because she is so quick to run after Lucas when he looks like he is headed near danger. Lucas was being his silly self today. Sunshyne told Adria to sing Old McDonald had a farm, and of course on cue Lucas said EIEIO. We had a good day out. Sunshyne had to give me a ride into the base though because my inspection sticker was expired on my van and they wouldn't let me in on the base.

I am really thinking that I am going to have Lucas' birthday party here again this year. He really enjoyed playing in the water and on the new play equipment.

Lucas enjoyed trying to get the ball in the hole.

Here he is concentrating tryin to get the last ball through.

He decided he would try hanging from the bar. I was pretty impressed!

Poor Sunshyne ended up burning her legs going down the slide. Then to top it off the rubber floor on the playground burned her feet.
